Understanding Your Social Media Channels

Facebook, Linked In, Twitter

Facebook

Access through your personal Facebook page

In addition to your personal page, you now have a business Facebook page.  We recommend posting on your business page at least a few times a week, but even if you never touch it again, it’s good to have.  In addition to standard posts, you can create paid ads, post jobs, and offer discounts. More info on those features here.

Linked In

Accessed through your personal LinkedIn

In addition to your personal profile, you now have a business Linked In Business page.  Depending upon who your target audience is, you may want to spend time each week on Linked In.  Check out their best practices for Company Pages.

Twitter

It is very rare for someone to make a buying decision because of info found on Twitter.  That being said, Twitter can be linked to automatically post anything you share on your business Facebook page.  Links to your website or about your business tell Google you’re still around, which helps SEO.
