Here are some tips to help strengthen your password security:
If you have too many passwords to keep track of, use a password manager. We recommend LastPass, which has both free and premium options.
No matter what, never reuse a password, especially on a questionable website.
Avoid using obviously identifiable information in your passwords, such as spouse’s names, birthdays, pet names, etc.
Experts suggest a password length of 12 characters at the very least.
It’s also best to make your password a nonsense phrase. Think length rather than complexity.
